Motorola just launched the moto g7 plus in China. so, on this post, Motorola moto g7 plus launched in China. we are going to be talking about the specs, the price, and other stuff. if you are a Motorola phone you won’t deny the fact that Motorola brings out decent devices these days. and the latest of them all is the moto g7 plus just launched in China. Therefore without further ado lets go ahead and talk about the Motorola g7 plus key specifications.

Before we talk about the specs of the Motorola g7 plus, it is what noting that the Motorola g7 plus is a mid-range device and therefore it is expected to come with midrange specs. So do not expect any high-end cutting edge specs on this one because it is a midrange device and definitely have midrange specs. actually, they’re pretty decent for the specs.

Display – Motorola Moto G7 plus Launched in China

Keeping things visible on the Motorola moto g7 plus, there is a 6.2 inches LTPS IPS LCD full hd+ display. it is good to know that the display has a notch, a teardrop notch for that matter. the display also features a corning gorilla glass 3 and a screen to body ratio of approximately 81.4%. not bad for a mid-range phone, but we have seen more. Also, the display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and the pixel count is approximately 405ppl. Overall its LTPS display is new and it is kind of a new trend for the midrange devices.

Camera – Motorola Moto G7 plus Launched in China

The camera on this guy is a single teardrop camera of 12mp which features HDR technology and shoots videos at 2160p@30fps. while on the back there is a dual camera setup with a 16mp wide angle and a 5mp depth sensor, for bokeh effect and others. the G7 plus features a dual tone flash on the back also. So yes these are pretty decent camera you just have to wait and see to when it comes out.

Performance – Motorola Moto G7 plus Launched in China

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 636 having an octa-core of 1.8 gigahertz kryo 260 and GPU power of 509, this is great but not as great as a Snapdragon 675 processor however considering the price of this device it is a turndown. do not expect high graphics performance from this chipset because it is in the lower midrange segment. the device runs on android 9.0.

Power and Memory

Keeping the lights on this device is a 3000mah fast-charging battery that supports a fast charge of up to 27 WATTS using the Qualcomm quick charge 4. again, considering the price of this device i expected more. however, you would have wished if it is a little bit more. It would have been very good if it came with at list a 3500mah. the Motorola moto g7 comes with a 4gb of Ram and 64gb of internal storage and can be expanded via a dedicated micro sd card up to about 256gb.

Price Point

Well, here is where things get interesting. The Motorola moto g7 launched with a price of about $350. Which is definitely too much for a mid-range phone with this specs. the price is not on par with other devices such as the is your Xiaomi note 7. Which features slightly superior specs and still comes with a price half of the price of the Motorola moto g7 plus.

Yes the jury has reached a verdict. And the verdict is a solid no for this device considering the fact that it has a lower processor than phones with slightly superior specs that are half its price. So sorry motorola this specs just does not cut the price point attached to this device at launch. half of the price of the moto g7 plus, you can get the Xiaomi redmi note 7 for half the price of about $150.

The fact remains that the Motorola moto g7 plus is a strong contender in the midrange segment of smartphones. but its price is a big turnoff. the price is just too much for a Snapdragon 636 device. there are other smartphones in the middle segment smartphones with better specs and cheaper price. So unless you are a core Motorola fan I don’t see a lot of people getting this device.

am loyal smart and humble.
