Samsung S10 Review – Everything About It

Spread the love

Good day guys and welcome to this post on Samsung s10 review. in this post, we are going to talk about the Samsung galaxy s10 under some heading like display, design, storage, price, and others. so do stay tuned because this post is packed and maybe by the end of this post, you might be considering getting this device. there have been lots of buzz about this phone right from the time Samsung announced that they would not join the queue of the notched display and that they are developing their own infinity display which would be featured on their flagship phones starting to from the S10

Everyone was curious to see how Samsung was going to manage it and was also kind of excited to see how it going to be on the new galaxy S10 smartphones. I guess that’s one of the reasons the galaxy s10 is so popular. It later turned out that the new display Samsung was talking about is the infinity display which features a punch hole to accommodate for the camera. which we have now seen to be present on all the models of the galaxy S10.

Design and Display –Samsung S10 Review

As we have seen above that the galaxy s10 features an infinity display with a hole cut out on the upper part of the screen to allow for the dual cameras which are 10mp and 8mp respectively on the front side of the display there is a 6.1-inch AMOLED infinity-O display. And one thing I like is that Samsung had customized the default wallpapers to be dark around the camera side to mask the fact that there are cameras on the screen. The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 3040 with a ratio of 19;9 making it handy for one hand use. the display also features the Qualcomm ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner that scanners your fingerprints by mapping outlines of your finger in 3D which is opposite of the optical scanner.

On the back of the device, we have a triple camera setup with dual 12mp cameras for depth sensing, while the 16mp is for wide angle. The first 12mp camera is also a telephoto camera. the back of the device features gradient colors which depending on the angle changes. You will also notice that the phone is pretty slippery to hold. But this can be gotten rid of by using the cover. and there is one of the best features which is the wireless charging. Samsung s10 can also reverse wireless charging to charge any phone that features wireless charging. there is a USB type C port, dual nano sim ports and an audio 3.5 mm jack. the phone runs android pie from the go and you might have to do some updating.

Processor –Samsung S10 Review

When was the last time Samsung used a Snapdragon chipset well that’s for you to find out? But the s10 uses an octa-core 2.8 mongoose M4 cortex-A75, Cortex-A55 Exynos 9820 Octa processor. That’s based on the 8nm process. The graphics department of the processor is handled by the Mali-G76 MP12 – EMEA capable of handling any graphics intense work. The chip is also 64bit.

Storage –Samsung S10 Review

The s10 packs a whole lot of storage spaces for both Ram and Rom. The device comes with a 6gb/8gb of Ram and a 128/512 GB of internal storage which is a lot for a device. And can be expanded via memory SD card up to 1terabyte of storage. The sims are hybrid and are dual.

Battery –Samsung S10 Review

S10 packs a dynamic not too large battery capacity of 3400mah which is sufficient for mid usage. But struggles when it comes to heavy usage. I feel like Samsung could have done more in this compartment. A 4000mah battery would have been nice. Anyway to make up for this Samsung has added a  very fast and fantastic wireless charging. Which I have said before can also reverse and charge another phone while charging or not charing. And it stops charging when the battery gets low to a certain extent.

Well, its time to talk about the main reason while some people wouldn’t get this device even if they want to. Although the Samsung Galaxy is not as expensive as the iPhone 10 max, for a 1000$ price it still isn’t cheap. Anyway, way the price for the Samsung galaxy s10 price in India is about Rs 66900, for the base model while in the US starts from about $900. However, its good to know that the device is still in pre-order which are normally cheaper than when it goes on sale.

The Samsung infinity display which is now available in the s10 is a more solid take on the display side of things. And I guess it would be up to the consumers to really know whether Samsung has done right with it. However the Samsung s10  is an amazing device with interesting cameras, 5 to be exact and it’s one of the top leading phones for the year, With this Samsung has set the bar very high. The only major turn off for most users is the high price and the uncertainness of users towards the hole in display technology. Yeah not everyone is a fan in this aspect.
